Revitalization

Recovering a church’s disciple making DNA

The mission of the church has always been and will always to make disciples. Whereas in church planting the goal is to establish a church with a “disciples that make disciples” DNA, in revitalization or “re-missioning” the goals is to recover the church’s disciple making DNA.

We are committed to creating a culture of “invitation” in our district in regards to revitalization. Our revitalization efforts focus on the concept of the church life cycle, helping churches rediscover their disciple making DNA “multiplication”, and making the necessary spiritual, strategic, and practical steps, unique to the church and context, for renewal. We utilize our five district AREAS (peer challenge, encouragement, and accountability), and processes such as “Church Unique”, revitalization cohorts, and options such as church adoption in our revitalization efforts.
